Why?

Currently anywhere you go you can only trade Wownero with Bitcoin, not wow. What if someone wanna to trade there wownero for Litecoin or USDT? That's why I thought of wowbase, wow.

What?

Wowbase will be a wownero based exchange with BTC, LTC, BCH, XMR AND USDT. With no maker and taker fees and as low as possible withdrawal fees. This exchange would all people to start buying and sell wownero just coins other than bitcoin, allowing people who don't have bitcoin to join the market.

How much?

$100 - Developer Payment

This should cover the payment for the developer to create the site and exchange, and a extra sum to be held in case there is a problem on the exchange that needs to be fixed

$15 - Wowbase.net

The domain for wowbase

$3 (a month) - VPS [$36 all together]

This should cover 1 year worths of hosting for the site

10% stability fee

This is just incase the price dumps after this is posted

I use coingecko to see the price of wownero : https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/wownero 2400 wownero ~ $165

Milestones?

  1. Purchasing the site and hosting - 1 day The developer can't start developing the exchange without a domain, duh
  2. Paying the developer and setting up the exchange - 3 days Developing an exchange takes time and we don't wanna mess up anything

Outcomes?

A very wow exchange based on wownero, wow! With multiple pairs and low fees!

Why you?

Well I have basic knowledge on setting up a site and I am very wow. But yea you should only donate if you believe me and trust the idea.

dsc [admin] 2020-08-30 09:23 Would like to thank you for the proposal. I believe it's better suited as a personal project at this point in time. reply
wowario [admin] 2020-08-15 13:04 will the code be open sourced under a MIT license? reply
soiledcold [op] 2020-08-23 19:07 Yea so it will be open source since you said it had to
soiledcold [op] 2020-08-21 10:26 Did you get my discord msg regarding your question?
wowario [admin] 2020-08-16 05:37 any coded funded by WFS should be MIT licensed.
soiledcold [op] 2020-08-15 13:30 Well, if you want it to be open sourced then sure. But it's most likely not unless asked to make it open source.
wowario [admin] 2020-08-14 23:25 I am not too confident a secure exchange can be done in 3 days. Could the dev share any previous projects he worked on or github profile? reply
soiledcold [op] 2020-08-15 10:00 He helped make https://exchange.coalcoin.network/
dsc [admin] 2020-08-14 18:59 Nice idea. What languages/frameworks are you planning on using? reply
lza_menace 2020-08-14 18:21 Who is the dev? you? or remains to be determined? reply
soiledcold [op] 2020-08-14 19:03 The developer is a friend who helped with my cryptocurrency, I am just gonna do some of the art and help plan everything out :)
asymptotically 2020-08-14 16:17 $100 sounds like very little for what would probably being like hundreds of hours of work. Also I think it would take a time machine and lots of something special to be able to cram hundreds of hours of work into 3 days :D reply
soiledcold [op] 2020-08-14 19:05 Originally it was $250 but I didn't think I was gonna get that much so I bargained with him and brought it down. A functioning exchange will be released hopefully in 3 days, and through the days after we will be changing and fixing up the exchange. Also that's just an estimate if it takes longer, it will just be delayed.
lza_menace 2020-08-14 18:21 agreed, this is a huge effort for something decent
